It has been 10 years since Britain experienced one of biggest royal weddings of the 20th century. Prince William married Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey on 29th April 2011.
The royal wedding was attended by representatives from allover the world, royal and non royal. This includes our very own african royals from the three remaining monarchies in Africa. The african royal guests included :
- King Mswati iii and Queen Inkhosikati laMahlangu of the Kingdom of Eswatini formerly the Kingdom of Swaziland
- Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco, consort and wife to King Mohammed vi of the Kingdom of Morocco
- Prince Bereng Seeiso Bereng and wife princess Mabereng Seeiso of the Kingdom of Lesotho (brother and sister in law to King Letsie iii of Lesotho). The prince also served as the ambassador of Lesotho to the UK and is the closest african royal to the British princes William and Harry.
- Princess Charlene of Monaco and her husband Sovereign Prince Albert of Monaco. Chharlene born in Zimbabwe and raised in South Africa was then a south African Olympic swimmer.
