Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali has been appointed the 19th Emir of Zazzau, Kaduna state, Nigeria. He was approved by the Kaduna state government. He succeeds the late emir Dr Alhaji Shehu Idris who died after 45 years on the throne.




Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali is the first emir from the Mallawa royal house in 100 years since his grandfather Emir Dan Sidi in 1920.
He previously served as ambassador of Nigeria to Thailand and Myanmar.
