Queen Iyayota Ewuare celebrates her birthday today.
She is the second wife of HM Oba (King) Ewuare ii of Benin kingdom, Nigeria. Benin kingdom is a precolonial kingdom or empire of the Edo ethnic people of Nigeria. Today it exists as a traditional entity but the king has immense influence on the people and Nigerian government.
