Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia

Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia is a known figure in royal circles as the grandson of late Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia. He is president of the Ethiopian royal Crown council, a body for the abolished Ethiopian monarchy.

Born on 14th July 1960, he is the son of late Prince Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia and Princess Mahisente. Prince Sahle Selassie was the last born child of late Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw of Ethiopia. Princess Mahisente was the born from the kingdom of Leqa namqate or Oromo people.

He firstly married to Princess Gelila Fesseha (divorced 2004) with twin sons.

He remarried to Princess Saba Kebede in 2011

As president of the Ethiopian royal Crown council, he promotes his grandfather’s legacy and is patron of Haile Selassie fund for children in need.
