Today October the 15th marks the 125th anniversary of the execution of Prince RATSIMAMANGA, the uncle of Queen RANAVALONA III,the last monarch of Madagascar.
He was executed alongside another prominent politician by the french government for allegedly aiding Malagasy people to fight against French colonial rule.
His royal descendants led by Princess Fenosoa Ratsimamanga gathered to mark this occasion at his residence. The government of Madagascar was represented by the madam minister of culture.
