The last two weekends saw the coming of two families to celebrate the official and traditional wedding ceremonies of their children, Calvin Theko and Princess Khopotso Masupha Seeiso of Lesotho now Mr and Mrs Calvin Theko. Both are royal descendants of Lesotho
Mr Calvin Theko is the son of Mr Retselisitsoe Theko and Mrs ‘Masekhonyana Theko and a nephew of the Royal principal chief Khoboane Theko of Thaba Bosiu, Lesotho
Princess (Khosatsana) Khopotso Masupha Seeiso is the daughter of HRH Prince Masupha Seeiso of Lesotho (uncle of King Letsie III of Lesotho) and late Princess Ma’Bereng Masupha Seeiso.
The royal wedding kicked off with a small official wedding ceremony at Matsieng royal Palace where guests were adorned in suits and gowns. Traditional ceremonies thereafter followed as she was welcomed by the groom’s family. Guests flocked in their basotho blankets and Shoeshoe fabric.
