Prince Mathealira Seeiso of Lesotho, Principal Chief (Morena) of Mokhotlong was buried on 8th January 2022. He was an uncle to HM King Letsie III of Lesotho and served also as a senator to the Lesotho royal senate parliament.
He was buried in Mokhotlong where he reigned as Principal chief
The military honorary royal funeral was attended by Lesotho royal family Moshoeshoe dynasty, Morenaemoholo of BaKoena ba Mopeli, South Africa, Principal chiefs of Lesotho, friends and general public of Mokhotlong.
Notable speakers included his son Prince Lerotholi Mathealira, daughter Princess Mabatho Mathealira, brother Prince Masupha Seeiso, Principal Chief of Thaba Bosiu, King Letsie III of Lesotho among others
