King Madzikane II Thandisizwe Diko of amaBhaca/ Bhaca tribe / kwaBhaca kingdom, South Africa (died 21st February 2021) was the reigning monarch of the amaBhaca people of South Africa

He passed away suddenly on 21 February 2021 after a short undisclosed illness. The funeral service was held at Elundzini royal residence and later interred at Encuteni gravesite.

During the speaking sessions, the king was hailed as a spearhead of development in the area with many feeling that with his passing, development would slow down. Tributes from his wife, children and sisters were read to the crowd. Among the royal guests included the king Ndamase II of AmaMpondo aseNyandeni kingdom, South Africa. The royal house also insisted that the amaBhaca are a kingship and not a chiefdom as South African government has always stressed.

He leaves behind his mother Queen mother Indlovukazi Diko, his wife Queen Khusela Diko and his children.

He was married to Khusela Diko, presidential spokesperson of president Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa.

May he rest in eternal peace and condolences to the royal family and amaBhaca nation.
