#royalfuneral of Jacqueline Tebogo Khama, Princess of baMangwato people of Botswana (Khama dynasty).
Her funeral was held in serowe, the capital of baMangwato traditional monarchy amongst her sons, grandchildren, extended family, friends and baMangwato.
Unfortunately her immediate siblings watched live while in exile in South Africa. This is because of the problems between her brother and current president Masisi who was previously served as vice president during Khama tenure.
She was the first child of Sir Seretse Khama I, first president of Botswana and Kgosikgolo of baMangwato tribe and his British wife Lady Ruth Khama. Her younger brothers are Ian Khama, former president Botswana and current Kgosikgolo of baMangwato and Twins Anthony Khama and Tshekedi Khama II. She leaves behind two sons and grandchildren
She will be cremated though a grave had been prepared for her at the Royal cemetery. May she rest in eternal peace.
