Queen (inkosikazi) M’mbelwa V of Jele Ngoni people of Malawi has been officially crowned Queen consort to her husband HM (King) Inkosi ya Makhosi M’mbelwa V on 2nd June 2022.
Hundreds gathered at the Royal residence for the event which witnessed tradition of the Ngoni people mixed with Christian traditions.

Jere /Jele Ngoni people of Malawi are descendants of Zwangendaba, a military general who fled the Shaka Zulu Mfecane wars and settled in Malawi.
