Queen Elizabeth II of UK was the longest reigning monarch in the world. She has been on the throne for 70 years since 1952. The Queen actually ascended on the throne on the African soil during her trip in Kenya after receiving news of her fathers death King George VI.
The Queen has had various trips within the African continent, maintaining close relations with former colonies which most are part of the commonwealth. She has also met various African royals both reigning and traditional. Below is a list
