Elegushi Royal family, Nigeria

The Elegushi royal family or dynasty is the reigning family of the Ikate kingdom sometimes called Ikate Elegushi kingdom presently found in Nigeria. It is a traditional kingdom in Lagos state that is recognised by the Nigerian government. Their monarch is called Elegushi which means King with their current being Oba Saheed Elegushi Kunsela III.

Elegushi Oba Saheed Elegushi Kunsela III

HM King (Elegushi) Oba Saheed Elegushi Kunsela III is the current reigning monarch of the Ikate kingdom, Lagos state, Nigeria. He was crowned 2010 after the death of his father late Elegushi Oba Yekini Adeniyi Elegushi Kunsela ii who passed on in 2009. The king left his political career interest for the throne. He is married twice to Queen (Olori) Sekinat Elegushi and Queen (Olori) Hadiza Elegushi. He has three daughters and a son

Olori Sekinat Elegushi

Queen (Olori) Sekinat Elegushi of Ikate, Nigeria, is the first wife of HM Elegushi (King) Oba Saheed Elegushi Kunsela III of Ikate. They married in 2003 after being University sweethearts and have three Princesses. She is founder of Olori Sekinat Elegushi foundation that helps the underprivileged n the society. Olori Sekinat is a graduate of accounts, interior designer and fashion and events business woman.

Olori Hadiza Elegushi

Queen (Olori) Hadiza Elegushi is the second wife of HM King Elegushi Oba Saheed Elegushi Kunsela III of Ikate. They married in 2019. The Queen is a professional in the oil, gas and petroleum industry.

Other royal family members include the descendants of previous kings but more particularly the immediate extended family of the King
